The Power of Belief and Bravery

“Believe that you can run farther or faster. Believe that you’re young enough, old enough, strong enough, and so on to accomplish everything you want to do. Don’t let worn-out beliefs stop you from moving beyond yourself.” John Bingham

The first day of sudden blindness is torture.

What will help you survive one day at a time is the fire within, a seemingly tiny flame that needs to be fanned to burn. This flame is the sincere belief in your capacity to succeed in your current endeavor.

It takes bravery in your heart to believe that you can thrive even when the odds are against you.

Have faith in yourself.

You may or may not believe in a higher power, but if you have trust in your own strength, then you can surpass your ordeals. The confidence you have in yourself, your dreams, and your future will be your own flame. Hold it close to your heart.

As you begin your own story of success, you have to remember that you are what you believe in. With deliberate actions, what you believe about yourself will turn into a reality.

We must believe in our actions, thoughts, feelings, and our own destiny. This is a crucial concept.

Whatever you believe in now will determine your future. Your thoughts will shape your world for you. There is no reality other than the one we interpret ourselves.

Believe that you are good enough.

Believe that you can do it.

And you will.

Now, we need to find a concept to fuel our belief. We have to find room in our hearts for bravery to reside.

You see, our beliefs will be tested by our doubts and fears. Such is the way of the world.

I once shared this conversation with an idealistic young man named Jules, who had failed time and time again. Jules wrote articles day and night for close to three months, and his works had sprung from his heart. He believed fervently that they were good and that he was equally a good writer.
